Vannakkam!
I am Thamil speaking South African whose ancestors settled here about
140 years ago. I have been to Chennai for the last three years during
maar-gazhi (music festival month).
On my first visit I purchased your book 'THIRUPPUGAZH Glory to Lord
Murugaa' . I have learnt a lot from and am still learning more every
time I read it. It is one of the best books I have read in a long time (
I am 70 years old).
Thank you.

I am in receipt of your letter dated 9th October 05 and also a copy of
your book Thiruppugazh: Glory to Lord Muruga. The book is well produced.
Congratulations!
I will read it at leisure.

It is evidently clear that Lord Muruga has bestowed His bountiful blessings
on you. But for grace of Senthil Andavan, a project as great as this could
not have been completed by you so successfully. May your noble work continue.
My best wishes.

An excellent work on devotion. It covers almost all aspects of Muruga
worship. I appreciate your efforts in taking the glory of Muruga to all
corners. Keep it up.

Congratulations on your laudable achievement.
Needless to say, this book is an invaluable addition on the subject of Thiruppugazh.
You have provided a wealth of information on the many splendoured divine
truths conveyed by saint Arunagirinathar in his own words. I am grateful
to you for giving an excellent opportunity to know about as well as read
through this book which of course is very educative and absorbing.
Your translation of Kandhar Alamkaram and Kandhar Anuboothi is of immense
interest and value. Your write up on “Saints, Scholars, Singers and Stalwarts”
was excellent which focused on saints who down the ages upto the present,
have made significant and useful contributions in reaching out Thiruppugazh
to ever growing number of people. There can be little doubt that this interest
and eagerness will spur on and reach a much wider audience in due course
of time. I fully appreciate and understand the tremendous work load you
have sincerely undertaken and completed together with the financial costs.
However you will excuse me for pointing out certain printing errors which
have crept in. There are certain punctuation errors and slips which rob
the matter of its desired emphasis. All these however do not in any way
dilute the intrinsic value of the book. May Lord Muruga bless you to carry
forward your mission with greater zeal and enthusiasm in future.
I send my best wishes for the success of the book.

Doing a work of devotion is not that easy, especially for a person who
has been on a different line altogether. The writer needs knowledge, devotion,
literary skill, talent, ideas, imagination and a lot more to keep the readers’
interest alive. It seems Lord Muruga has blessed you with all these. We
look forward to more such works from you in future.
R. Subramanian, Chennai.
I have purchased the book when I was in Coimbatore and the book is of
great value. I have learnt many things. I am delighted to see Lord Muruga’s
picture and I have stored it in my laptop. Lord Muruga is very generous
to those who seek Him. This is my personal experience from my school and
college days.

Dear Sri Krishnan
Namaskaram. I did receive the book you had sent and it was superb. You have
done a wonderful job with lot of varied details of information in one book.
I think this could be first book in English on Thiruppugazh literature.
This will be very useful for the modern youth and of course for all who
had not had any exposure to Thiruppugazh. I glanced through the book and
certainly would be reading over to cover in a few days.
